The U2V VJC Builder currently supports Vijeo Citect V7.10, V7.20, V7.30 & V7.40.

The U2V VJC Builder application generates Vijeo Citect Variable, Alarm and Trend Tags from a Unity Pro application.  The Unity Pro feature exploited to accomplish this is the Custom Field on the Variable Tab of the Data Editor.  The Custom Field is displayed on the Variable Tab of the Data Editor by Right Clicking in the Editor and selecting Customize Columns and Checking the Custom option.  The U2V VJC Builder application provides many other features to reduce the amount of time necessary to develop and deploy Unity / Vijeo Citect Projects.

The generation of  Vijeo Citect Variable, Alarm and Trend Tags from a Unity Pro application is accomplished by applying the U2V VJC Syntax to the Custom Field of Unity Pro Variables in the Data Editor.
With the Custom Field of the  Unity Pro Variables properly set, the following is the process of the Vijeo Citect Variable, Alarm and Trend Tag Generation.

The Explorer Utility displays the content of all of the Vijeo Citect Databases that the U2V VJC Bldr effects.

Navigation within a Vijeo Citect SCADA system can be guided by the use of menus. The U2V VJC Bldr includes a utility to ease the creation of navigation menus.  All menu types are supported, including Tab Style.  Assignment of page navigation to a menu item is by drag and drop. The list of pages to chose from is inclusive of all pages in a Project and its Include Projects.  The Menu Command can also be manually edited (by double-click), so CiCode can also be assigned.

The U2V VJC Bldr Utilities include, an OFSOPC Server Bldr, this utility uses an OFS Configuration Archive File to generate the Vijeo Citect Servers with standardized U2V names.

There is also a DNPr Server Bldr which uses a file created by the M340 BMXNOR RTUconf Tool, to generate the Vijeo Citect Servers.

The primary reason that the Equipment Bldr exists is to provide an easy to use interface to build the equipment hierarchy and associate Alarm Tags to the hierarchy for use on the V7.30 Vijeo Citect Alarm Pages.  To this end, the Equipment Bldr utility of the U2V VJC Bldr uses a specific U2V Structure.
After creating a U2V VJC Bldr Setup the Equipment Bldr Utility can be launched
Then right-clicking in the Equipment pane allows the user to add the U2V ISA88 based Standard Physical Model, this adds nodes to the Equipment Tree from the Vijeo Citect IO Devices configuration.
Next, the user can right-click on the PLC for this Setup and add a Process Cell to this Area. There is no limit to the number of Process Cells per PLC (Area).
Double Clicking the ProcessCell, Unit, Equipment or Device allows these to be re-named.
Right-clicking on any of these allows the insertion of new sub-items.
The Variable List in the right pane contains all of the un-assigned (to Equipment) Variables with U2V VJC Bldr Syntax, this list can be Filtered.
Then the Variables on the right can simply be Dragged and Dropped on to the appropriate 
ProcessCell, Unit, Equipment or Device in the Equipment Tree.
The final step is to click the menu item 'Generate Equipment'.  Here is shown the results after using the Equipment pane right-click option 'Show Variables' and selecting the Variables pane 'Equipment Variables' Tab.
The final step above updates the Vijeo Citect Project 'equip.dbf' file.  There are no other steps required.
